System requirements
The PC on which GF_Project is installed must have the following characteristics:
The PC must have the interfaces needed to connect the configuration device (PC) and the control device (PLC). An Ethernet port with complete configurability of network address is needed for all transfer and diagnostic procedures.A serial port (COM1… COM4) with complete configurability of communication parameters is needed to configure some devices (controllers, drives). The Gefran GF_eXpress configuration tool is needed for this specific configuration.Note: during installation and running of GF_Project, the system checks the actual availability of required disk space at regular intervals, warning the user if a problem occurs.
